Journeyman wins bid via "CompeteFor" to host an online registration site for BERR. On Monday 4th August Journeyman Design and Events won their first contract through CompeteFor to host an online registration site for BERR (Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform). Journeyman was awarded the contract over the other 40 bids to create an online registration site and host a helpline to assist delegates. The site allows businesses to register for the Procurement Seminar being held on 30th September 2008 in London, an opportunity to learn more about CompeteFor and how to register.

The Ixion - Journeyman partnership wins London Knowledge Transfer Awards programme. On Friday 30th May the partnership were informed that they had been successful in winning the inaugural London Knowledge Transfer Awards programme. Organised by the London Development Agency, its aim is to promote and celebrate successful partnerships between London SMEs and the London Knowledge base, as a way of increasing awareness of this activity and celebrating successful collaborations between the knowledge base and businesses. After many years in the hotel and conference business, working in operations and strategic planning, my experience and passion for service delivery led me to move to the other side of the business and set up an Event Management company.

This has since evolved to encompass design, communications and production to meet the ever changing needs of our clients.

Journeyman also fulfils my ambition to bring together a unique team of people to offer a service that I know many organisations need, particularly when faced with constraints on budgets and human resources.

We firmly believe in developing a unique relationship, where we can be looked upon as partners, not just service providers. Our clients benefit more from us working 'with them' rather than 'for them'. Whilst we are an extension of their team, we do not lose sight of who the client is and what their goals are!
